Byemoor Centennial Celebration

Saturday, June 7 – A full day of fun for all ages!

Travel back in time following the format of old Elks picnic. Pack a picnic lunch for you and your family or enjoy something from the food trucks available.

9:00a.m. – Coffee and donuts

9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. – Registration

11:00a.m. – Parade

12:00p.m. (Noon) – Opening Ceremonies

1:00p.mm to 3:00p.m. – Tours of past and present schools

1:00p.m. – Kids games start

2:00p.m. – Ball games start (bring your ball glove)

2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. – Tour St. Paul’s Anglican Church

2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. – Birthday cake at Byemoor Hall

2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. – Cotton candy, popcorn and ice cream

5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. – Supper of barbequed hotdogs and hamburgers

Noon – 8:00p.m. – Pizza available at Byemoor Hotel (preorder/prepaid 403-579-3933)

6:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. – Entertainment by the Genuine Cowgirls

8:00p.m. – Dance begins featuring the Boss Hill Band and licenced bar.

Ongoing activities throughout the day including self guided tours of Byemoor Cemetary 1933, complete with the new War Memorial and Wolf Hill Cemetary 1919.  Fireworks at dusk to cap off the celebration!
