Kayla Williams & The Yacht Daddies bring a fresh, modern twist to yacht-pop, blending the smooth, nostalgic vibes of ’70s soft rock with contemporary pop hooks. Inspired by legends like Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, and TOTO, their sound is a fusion of funk, soul, and shimmering feminine energy, creating an irresistible, feel-good atmosphere.
Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Kayla Williams, the band delivers high-energy performances that captivate audiences and turn every show into a dance-filled celebration. Based in Calgary, Alberta, they’ve built a strong regional presence, performing hundreds of shows across Western Canada, and connecting with audiences through their dynamic stage presence and engaging community spirit. Williams’ 2024 EP RETRODELIA received positive reviews and earned multiple award nominations, including Pop Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards.
