This trip will travel to Big Valley and make a stop at the Country Hideaway on the return journey. Includes full course buffet barbecue steak supper with all the trimmings at the Community Hall in Big Valley. Live entertainment on the train in coaches and at Big Valley there will be time to visit Granny’s Fudge Factory and All That Buzz, the Canadian Northern restored station, the vintage automobiles, trucks and household artifacts at McAlister’s Garage Museum, and Big Valley’s world-class Hand-tool and Collectibles Museum. At the Hideaway hayrides, nature walks, children’s barrel train, old-time carnival games, and rubber duck races are all part of the excitement. Mine payroll on board increases the danger of being hit by the Reynolds Raiders horse-mounted outlaw gang.

BBQ Steak Special

This trip lasts five (5) hours, and travels to the Village of Big Valley. Pull on your boots and cowboy hat and dine on barbecued steak, chuckwagon beans, oven broasted potatoes, Caesar salad, and complementary beer with meal. Trip includes live entertainment on the train, plus time to do some exploring in the village including Jimmy Jock Boardwalk, restored railway station, the cars and household artifacts at McAlister Motors community museum, and the world-class Big Valley Tool Museum. We wouldn’t be the least bit surprised that the Reynolds Raiders horse-mounted outlaw gang rob the train during this trip to Big Valley.
