No children please! Just for those who want to ride the train without the bustle and excitement of 13 and under. This trip lasts five (5) hours, and travels to the Village of Big Valley. This trip includes full course buffet style baked ham and scalloped potato meal in the Big Valley Community Hall, live entertainment in the coaches, time to visit Granny’s Fudge Factory and All That Buzz, and explore a fully restored 1912 Canadian Northern railway station, the blue church on the hill – St. Edmund’s, the McAlister’s Garage Museum, Big Valley’s world class Hand-tool and Collectibles Museum, the Big Valley Rail Car Museum, and the roundhouse and elevator interpretive centres. Please note the Reynolds Raiders have been spotted in the area.

NEWFOUNDLANDER SPECIAL TO BIG VALLEY (Steam)

Enjoy a little bit of “The Rock” right here in Alberta and feast on ribeye steak and lobster. Includes on board entertainment and a Down-East band at supper.

And what would a Newfoundlander Special be without complementary “East Coast” beer and Newfoundland berry wine.

Trip lasts five and one-half (5.5) hours, and travels to the Village of Big Valley. Somewhere on route there is a high likelihood that the train will be halted, and passengers robbed by the infamous Reynolds Raiders.

The stop in the Village of Big Valley will be approximately 2.5 hours long. On arrival at Big Valley guests will be invited to head up to the Community Hall for their meal and the music and song by Fiddles ‘n Stix. Following their meal there will be time for guests to visit many of that community’s attractions.
