Parks Day at Rochon Sands Provincial Park

Participate in the Annual Parks Day celebration at Rochon Sands Provincial Park! First recognized across Canada in 1990, Parks Day is a great opportunity to discover the treasures and natural beauty that exists all around us. Parks Day is celebrated annually on the third Saturday of July with participating parks across Alberta.

Sand Sculpture Competition

• 9:30a.m. Registration
• 10a.m.-12p.m. – Building Time
• Prizes for 1st, 2nd 3rd Place

Play a round of Disc Golf – Discs available at Park Office

Have some fun with the “Don’t Get Stumped” Scavenger Hunt

• Solve riddles to find all the stumps
• Free freezies for participants
