Polar Dip Fundraiser

Last year at the Polar Dip, Kevin MacDonald from Ol’MacDonald’s Resort got the crowds going and the fundraising dollars coming in when he set a goal amount to get him to take the icy plunge!  Kevin’s plunge helped bring in some much needed donations to this important fundraiser for water rescue equipment for Buffalo Lake.

This year, we are so happy to announce Kevin is now taking on the Polar Dip organizing and has partnered with our wonderful Stettler Regional Fire Department to host the Polar Dip at Ol’MacDonald’s Resort on Sunday, February 18 at 2:00p.m.

Spectators are encouraged to park at the Ol’ MacDonlad’s Beach Parking Lot and walk out to cheer on the brave volunteers taking the icy plunge under the watchful eye of volunteer firefighters. The Polar Dip is held in conjunction with the Big Jack Classic to add to the weekend experience and raise awareness for this important cause, our thanks to the Kevin and the team at Ol’ MacDonald’s Resort and the Stettler Regional Fire Department for organizing the fundraiser this year!
