This trip lasts five (5) hours, travels to the Village of Big Valley and is one of the five premium styles of trips being offered by Alberta Prairie Railway in 2024. Dine on barbecued side ribs, chuckwagon beans, baked potatoes, and tossed green salad. Includes complementary wine or beer with the meal. Live entertainment on the train, plus time to do some exploring in the village including Jimmy Jock Boardwalk, restored station, the cars and household artifacts at McAlister Motors community museum, and the world-class Big Valley Tool Museum. Train robbery by the Reynolds Raiders horse-mounted outlaw gang likely.

STEAK BARBECUE SPECIAL TO BIG VALLEY (Steam)

Trip lasts five (5) hours, and travels to the Village of Big Valley. Pull on your boots and cowboy hat and dine on barbecued ribeye steak, chuckwagon beans, oven roasted potatoes, Caesar salad, and complementary wine or beer with the meal.

Stop at the Village includes time for a visit to Jimmy Jock boardwalk, a robbery by the horse-mount Reynolds Raiders likely, live entertainment on board the train, and transportation to and from the Big Valley hall for those that have difficulty walking.
