This the last steam-locomotive powered trip for this season travels first to Big Valley and makes a stop at the Country Hideaway on the return journey. Includes full course buffet roast beef and gravy meal at Big Valley before heading back to the Hideaway, live entertainment on the train in coaches and in the Lone Star Saloon, time to visit Jimmy Jock Boardwalk and All That Buzz, the Canadian Northern restored station, and the vintage automobiles, trucks and household artifacts at McAlister Motors community museum. Be sure to spend some time at the world-class Big Valley Tool Museum building south-west of the station. Mine payroll on board increases danger of being hit by the Reynolds Raiders horse-mounted outlaw gang. Weather permitting a large-scale fireworks display will fill the sky after dark and prior to the arrival back in Stettler.
