The Big Jack Classic is a catch and release, Northern Pike only, ice fishing derby held at Buffalo Lake, AB. With mulitple prize categories including youth and taking place over the free fishing Family Day weekend in February, it makes for some perfect family fun! Each summer Donalda is host to 2 drive-in movies in May and August respectively. The movies are held in the bottom of Willow Canyon giving you the perfect breathtaking backdrop; the Canadian Badlands and big skies.

Explore what the museum has to offer with a scavenger hunt sponsored by ATB, and check out various agricultural demonstrations along with the all-new mini golf course. In addition, a wide range of family fun activities sponsored by Stettler FCSS and Stettler Family Resource Network will be available, including bouncy castles, an obstacle course, a free BBQ, and so much more.

Steel Wheel Stampede
The annual Stettler Steel Wheel Stampede brings young and old together to enjoy the past time that many locals have grown up with. The June event includes a town wide parade, show ‘n’ shine, other events and entertainment throughout the weekend. Take in the free pancake breakfasts, BBQ’s, local shopping promotions and family fun at every corner.
